Rev up your 2025 calendar—Gulfport’s coastal highways are about to fill with chrome, caffeine, and classic-car vibes. From quick day-trip cruise-ins to week-long street parties, the Mississippi Gulf Coast will keep enthusiasts busy all the way through fall. Below are six can’t-miss shows scheduled for the second half of 2025, all within an easy drive of Gulfport, MS.

June 7 – FMC Car Show & Movie Night (Fairhope, AL)

Willing to cross Mobile Bay for a full-day family outing? The Family Ministries Center in Fairhope transforms its campus into an open car show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., followed by an outdoor movie and kids’ zone activities. All makes and models are welcome, with 43 awards up for grabs, raffles, vendors, and bounce houses to keep younger gearheads busy.

June 20–22 – Scrapin the Coast (Biloxi, MS)

Just 15 minutes east of Gulfport, the Mississippi Coast Coliseum hosts the South’s wildest custom car, truck, and bike gathering. Now in its 23rd year, Scrapin the Coast packs three days of show-and-shine, audio battles, low-truck limbo, and an indoor vendor midway. Pre-registration spots disappear early, so lock in your tickets if you want to park inside the main arena.

June 28 – 27th Annual GNAT Nationals Open Car/Truck/Jeep Show (Waveland, MS)

Beach Park in Waveland delivers shady oak trees, sea breezes, and one of the coast’s most relaxed judged shows. Running 8 a.m.–3 p.m., the GNAT Nationals hand out Top 25 trophies plus specialty awards for rat rods, late-model trucks, and best-in-show divisions. Door prizes, a charity auction, and Gulf-fresh food vendors make it a laid-back alternative to the larger Biloxi events.

July 26–27 – Cars & Coffee: Summer 2025 (Biloxi, MS)

Cars & Coffee South Mississippi returns bigger than ever with a two-day format. Saturday night fires up Gulfport Dragway for heads-up grudge racing; Sunday morning moves the gathering to Treasure Bay Casino’s waterfront lot. Expect everything from exotics to lifted trucks, plus espresso on tap—just keep burnouts in check, because Biloxi PD will be watching.

September 19–21 – Amplified Designs “The Freakin Weekend” Show (Biloxi, MS)

Harrah’s Gulf Coast turns its Great Lawn into a three-day car, truck, and bike festival complete with live DJ sets, a pool party, merchandise village, and even a bikini contest. Open classes mean you’ll see slammed imports parked beside high-rise Jeeps, making this one of the most eclectic shows on the calendar.

October 5–12 – Cruisin’ the Coast (Entire MS Gulf Coast)

Crowned “Best Car Show Competition” by USA Today, Cruisin’ the Coast celebrates its 29th year with 30,000+ classics cruising Highway 90 from Bay St. Louis to Pascagoula. Expect daily venue stamp cards, a Vicari auto auction, headline oldies concerts, and the famous Downtown Gulfport block party. Registration stays open all week, but hotel rooms disappear months in advance—book now.

Plan your season now. Whether you prefer shady park picnics or neon-lit drag strips, the stretch between Gulfport and Biloxi offers a 2025 event for every taste and build. Dust off the detailing spray, stash a lawn chair in the trunk, and keep a roll of blue painters’ tape handy for that fresh show-sticker collection—you’ll need it long before the first cool front rolls in.
